If you work in the museum world (as I do) you know the Crystal Bridges Museum, which opens next month in Bentonville, Arkansas (yes you read that right) is a BIG DEAL. Not just because it’s in Bentonville but also because it was bankrolled by Alice Walton of Wal-Mart to the tune of $800 freaking million. Old Alice got a DWI last night. On her 62 birthday. Spent the night in jail! She’s the 10th richest woman in America. And when I saw her mugshot all I could think of was the methy lady in Winter’s Bone. I guess you can take the girl out of Arkansas…
